I took lessons since I was little; I used to pay for my own singing lessons and take myself. Just take the bus when I was a kid and go. - Rebecca Ferguson

Weekly Lessons
After your First Lesson Assessment, students jump into weekly lessons at a consistent day and time. Lessons happen the first three weeks of each month, with the 4th week saved for our monthly Group Performance Class, make-ups, or new student sessions. Lesson lengths are 30 or 45 minutes and billed monthly.
This schedule gives you the perfect balance of focused one-on-one coaching and playful performance practice.
Want extra lessons to really keep your momentum going? You can add those anytime.
Performance Class
As a weekly student, you’re invited to my monthly group Performance Class, held the 4th week of each month. This is a supportive space to:
Build confidence performing for others
Apply the techniques we’ve worked on in your lessons
Explore stage presence and style in real-world practice
Details are shared with active students.
Is This Right for You?
I work best with singers who:
Want to learn while having a good time
Want consistent guidance and accountability in a safe and fun atmosphere
Are ready to commit to a standing weekly time
Value a thoughtful, technique-based approach that helps them grow
If that sounds like you, the First Lesson Assessment is the perfect place to start.
***Please note: Existing students with legacy packages remain unchanged.

How to Get the Most out of Singing Lessons
What You Need to Know!
Each singing lesson with me should be AUDIO recorded. Even though it can suck to go back and listen to yourself, it is how you are going to practice the vocal work we do in your lessons. And it is also a super cool way for you to hear your improvement. I LOVE having my clients go back periodically to their first few lessons to hear how much better they sound. It really helps give you a sense of where you started and where you are now.
For in person lessons, the easiest way to do that is to use your smartphone. If you have an IPhone we use Voice Memos app and if you have an Android you will want to download a free voice recorder.
For online lessons, you will need either a laptop, tablet or phone with a working camera (so I can see you and you can see me). You will need access to the internet or be prepared to use the data from your phone plan. It would be great if you can find a quiet place in your house, so you will feel comfortable making all our fun sounds, and not be distracted with dirty dishes or your cat who wants your attention.
Some people have let me know that having a separate tablet/laptop/phone helps when it comes to recording our lesson together, as well as playing the song you are working on. So if that's an option we can use the other device to pull up your song or the lyrics

Put together a play list using your favorite music source. Put together several playlists. Separate by genre, by year, by artist, by favorite songs. And then add ONE more titled, Songs Doreene Wants Me To Work On.
Having a lot of songs at the ready will save us time. Come prepared to your Singing Lesson with Songs!

Practice your Vocal Scales 4-5 times a week. The scales are what you will record in our time together. Repetition of these scales is what will give your voice the opportunity to grow, strengthen and develop. The more your practice what we work on, the quicker your will see/hear/feel the difference in your voice.

I could talk about singing and how the voice works all day. If you are curious, or don't understand what we are doing, or how it is important to your voice, lets discuss it. The more you understand about how the voice and the body work, the more you can be a part of the process.
